Thank you for your interest in 3CE’s Member Agency Charge Your Fleet Program. Please read the following instructions before completing your application.

Note: Equipment purchased between August 1, 2024 through September 30, 2025 is eligible for this rebate.

Eligibility:
  • This application is only available to 3CE Member Agencies. A Member Agency is one of the 35 city and county agencies that have joined the Central Coast Community Energy (3CE) Joint Powers Authority and have been approved by the Policy Board of Directors.
  • To qualify, the applicant and the sites must be 3CE customers receiving 3CE electricity services.
You may apply for one or more rebates in any order with a limit of $150,000 in EVSE incentives to be paid in a program year (3CE’s program year is October 1 through September 30 each year).

Application Process:
  • Before applying, please check the Application Checklist to get all of the required information ready.
  • You must fill in all fields that are marked with an “*”. If you provide incorrect or incomplete information and/or documentation it may take longer to process your application.
  • The maximum total for all uploaded files is 25 MB per form submission (not per file upload field). If your files exceed this limit, please compress each file with Adobe Compressor. You may also email your files individually, in a link or zip folder to programs@3ce.org.

Please note: You cannot save and return to this application once you begin. If you leave this application before it is complete, you will have to start over.

Charge Your Fleet Application Terms & Conditions

 
By submitting this application, APPLICANT agrees to the following terms and conditions:

  1. APPLICANT must be a 3CE Member Agency. Member Agencies are the cities and counties that have joined the Central Coast Community Energy Joint Exercise of Powers Agreement. Eligible EV Charger(s) physical location and electric service must be actively enrolled in 3CE service.
  2. APPLICANT agrees to release, indemnify, defend, and hold harmless 3CE and its agents, employees, or representatives from all claims, demands, and liabilities, including bodily injury claims arising out of or in connection with the APPLICANT’s participation in the Program. Neither 3CE nor APPLICANT shall be liable to the other for incidental, special, punitive or consequential damages.
  3. Submittal of this Application does not commit 3CE to any financial obligation to any APPLICANT. 3CE will only commit to award funds to APPLICANT upon written confirmation that all program eligibility conditions are met and all required documents and information pertaining to this Application have been provided to 3CE. The Program is on a first-come, first served basis until funding is depleted.
  4. 3CE reserves the right to discontinue the Program at any time for any or no reason and remove all available non-reserved funds.
  5. 3CE reserves the right to change the requirements and/or due dates as may be necessary.
  6. 3CE reserves the right to consider factors other than those specified within this Application and to request additional information from APPLICANT that are pertinent to the Program.
  7. 3CE reserves the right to reject any or all applications received in relation to the Program for any reason.
  8. 3CE does not issue a 1099 for the rebate and 3CE cannot offer tax advice of any kind. It is APPLICANT'S sole responsibility to contact a tax professional regarding the taxability of the provided rebate. 
  9. APPLICANT agrees to enroll any utility account within its custody and control that is linked to the incentivized EV Chargers in 3CE service for a minimum of 24 consecutive months.
  10. APPLICANT shall retain ownership of the new EV Charger(s) for a minimum of 24 consecutive months following the EV Charger(s) purchase date. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be governed by and construed under the laws of the State of California, without reference to its conflicts of law provisions. Any dispute, or claim arising out of relating to this Agreement, or breach thereof shall be venued in Monterey County.
  11. These terms may be modified at any time in accordance with any legal or regulatory directive.
  12. APPLICANT certifies that all information provided as part of this Application, including any attachments, are true and correct.
  13. APPLICANT certifies that APPLICANT has disclosed any additional rebate funding anticipated or received to fund the incentivized EV charger(s) purchase and installation. Eligible costs for the Level 2 EV Charger rebate include cost of the Level 2 EV charging equipment, installation materials, installation labor, and any additional eligible costs stated in the rebate eligibility guidelines. Eligible costs for the Level 3 EV Charger Rebate include cost of the Level 3 EV Charging equipment, installation materials, and installation labor, and any additional eligible costs stated in the rebate eligibility guidelines. APPLICANT understands that the final rebate amount issued can be up to but not exceeding 100% eligible project costs, minus any current or prospective financial incentives or rebates from additional funding sources (“Net Eligible Cost”).
